SOMERSET DAM CAMP – 7th NOVEMBER to 12th NOVEMBER

This camp is to be held at the picturesque Somerset Dam arriving on Sunday 7th Nov and departing on the afternoon of Friday 12th Nov.

We will be staying at NRMA Lake Somerset Holiday Park which is right on the water and has 3 bedroom Villas that sleep up to 8, 2 bedroom villas that sleep up to 4, a log cabin that sleeps up to 8 and safari tents that sleep up to 4. ADDITIONALLY, powered and unpowered van and tent sites are available.

Check in time for villas etc is 2pm and 8am for camp and van sites.

Check out times for villas etc is 10am but all can stay on site until 6pm on checkout day. Those who have to vacate rooms can join the peasants in the slums and still use the camping amenities.

This means we will have a paddle on the Friday before heading home.

There will be a minimum of four paddles to various parts of Lake Somerset. The fifth paddle will be decided on closer to the camp and will be dependent on water flows and lake heights.

When booking, if you are a member of RACQ or NRMA, advise them as you will get a discount. (ie make sure you get a member to book for you.)

This is a quantum change from our August Camp but a great venue in a great location. With no tides to contend with and plenty of places to stop, there will be something for everyone. I recommend it!
