7th to 15th November 2019.

Camp Coordinators – Umi and Chris Roberts

Camp Update 11th Oct.

  • The nearest shops to the NRMA Mall Shores Holiday Park are at Bulahdelah a 22 minute drive away.
  • The Myall Shores Holiday Park have a cafe which is open for lunch daily and till 7pm on weekends.
  • At Port Stephens there are shops a short drive from the Halifax Holiday Park.
  • The camp dinner will be at Port Stephens at a location to be determined.
  • It is often said that we have too much food at happy hour so in an effort to reduce waste (and overeating) only bring happy hour food on alternate days. So if your car number plate ends with an even number bring snacks for the first night (7th Nov) and odd numbers the next night and so on.
This Camp will be held at two locations over the week. The first paddles will be at Myall Lakes followed by a relocation to Port Stephens for the remainder.
There will be 3 paddles from each site with more details to follow.

Myall Lakes – 7th to 11th.

Accomodation will be at the NRMA Myall Shores Holiday Park.
Access is via a well-maintained dirt road from Bulahdelah on the Pacific Highway.
  • Myall Shores to Violet Hill
  • Myall Shores to Nerong
  • Myall Shores to Tamboy (Myall River) and morning tea at Mungo Brush camp site

Port Stephens – 11th to 15th.

Accomodation will be at the Halifax Holiday Park
Two of the paddles will be from Little Beach, so powered sites and Villas on the Little Beach side of the park would be preferred.

It is recommended to book early as the Halifax holiday park will book out.

  • Halifax Holiday Park to Salamander Bay
  • Halifax Holiday Park to Tea Gardens
  • George Reserve to Lemon Tree Passage
